HOLY CHURCH OF APOSTLE TYCHIKOS

This unique church dominates the community of Mesana in the Paphos district and is the only church in Cyprus that is dedicated to the Apostle Tychikos. Its construction was completed at the beginning of the 20th century upon the foundations of an earlier and smaller church, following architectural elements of a basilica of Gothic style. The building is renowned for its exceptional wood-carved decoration, which was made by craftsmen from Agios Dometios, and is the central spiritual ornament of the area.
