HOLY CHURCH OF ARCHANGEL MICHAEL

This ancient church is located next to the old cemetery of Kokkinotrimithia and is a precious monument of local history. It is a single-aisled stone-built structure, which during the period of the Frankish and the Venetian rule probably functioned as the manorial Chapel of some fief of the area. In the interior of the church an important wood-carved iconostasis survives that dates from the beginning of the 17th century, as well as a historic wall painting of the Archangel Michael.
