HOLY CHURCH OF SAINTS BARNABAS AND HILARION

This historic church is one of the most important architectural monuments of Cyprus, as it has five impressive domes in a cruciform arrangement. Its construction dates back to the Middle Byzantine period and it is one of the very few churches of this type that survive worldwide. In its interior rare wall paintings of different periods and an exceptional wood-carved iconostasis of the 16th century are housed.
