HOLY CHURCH OF PANAGIA ELEOUSA

This is a modern and spacious parish church, which was erected in order to meet the growing worship needs of the community of Prastio (Avdimou). The building follows the architectural type of the three-aisled basilica with a dome and is clad externally with beautiful local stone. It has a large, comfortable and flagstone-paved precinct, a fact that makes it an ideal centre for the gathering of the faithful, as well as for the celebration of religious sacraments and feasts
