HOLY CHURCH OF PANAGIA SKOURIOTISSAS

This small timber-roofed little church is the only building that survived from an old homonymous monastery. It is located in the area of the mine and today is incorporated within the boundaries of a camp of the UN peacekeeping forces. Its name is historically connected with the slag left behind by the ancient copper-processing works in the wider area.
