HOLY CHURCH OF PANAGIA CHRYSAIFYLIOTISSAS

This majestic church is the central parish of Agia Fyla in Limassol and is dedicated to Panagia Chrysaifyliotissa. It was built on the site of an earlier historic church of the 18th century, which was demolished owing to the increased needs of the area. Its architecture follows the type of the three-aisled domed basilica with large bell towers. In its interior precious relics are housed and the historic, miraculous icon of the Theotokos
