HOLY CHURCH OF PANAGIA CHRYSELEOUSA

This church is the central church of Nea Theletra in Paphos and was built in 1982, after the relocation of the community from its old site. Its erection was completed within a very short period of time under the guidance of the Metropolis of Paphos, so as to meet directly the needs of the residents. It functions as the religious centre of the village, hosting all the holy services, the weddings and the baptisms of the community. The memory of the Panagia is honoured festively every year on 8 September with a large attendance of faithful.
