HOLY CHURCH OF PANAGIA CHRYSOSOTIRAS

The Holy Church of Panagia Chrysosoteira is the central parish church of the community of Treis Elies in the mountainous Limassol district. This stone structure, which is built in the style of a basilica, received radical renovation and repairs at the end of the 18th century with the contribution of the then Archbishop of Cyprus Chrysanthos. In the interior of the church precious relics and historic icons of great religious value are kept, while the site is the main point of worship and gathering of the few permanent residents and of those from the village living abroad
