HOLY CHURCH OF HOLY FORERUNNER

This noteworthy church is located within the community and has been fully restored, with the conservation works completed in two thousand and ten. It is a traditional stone building which bears a pitched roof covered with tiles. In its interior historical relics of great value are kept, such as a rare gospel book of the sixteenth century with a brass cover and old icons. The church comes administratively under the Holy Metropolis of Morphou and celebrates festively every summer.
