HOLY CHAPEL OF SAINT KYRIAKOS
The plain and unadorned chapel of Saint Kyriakos is a historic ornament for the seaside village of Zygi. Its erection in the mid-1950s by the Pattichis family bears the strong mark of that era, when the area was bustling with workers engaged in the trade of Cyprus's “black gold”, the carobs. Its stone architecture and its serene location make it an ideal refuge for spiritual uplift, and also an extremely popular destination for the celebration of weddings and baptisms against the backdrop of the seaside landscape
