HOLY CHAPEL OF SAINT PARTHENIOS

This is a small, single-aisled church with a metal pitched roof, which is built in the enclosure of the central Holy Church of the Holy Cross in Pano Polemidia. The chapel is dedicated to Saint Parthenios, Bishop of Lampsakos, who is widely considered by the faithful to be the protector of cancer patients. Owing to its limited interior space it operates mainly for pilgrimage, private prayer and for the celebration of supplication services
