KOIMITIRIAKO CHAPEL OF SAINT GEORGE LOFOU

This cemetery chapel is located at the western end of the traditional community of Lofou, incorporated into the grounds of the local cemetery. It is built as a single-aisled basilica without a dome, using entirely the authentic, dressed stone of the area. Its pitched wooden ceiling bears visible purlins and is covered with French-type clay tiles, while its plain structure offers a space of deep devotion and prayer
