CEMETERY CHURCH OF ANAVARGOUS

This plain religious building is located in the urban quarter of Anavargos in the Municipality of Paphos, built within the local cemetery. The church follows the simple architectural lines of the cemetery chapels of Cyprus, serving the needs of the faithful of the area. Owing to its special character and its location, the space is used exclusively for funeral services, memorial services and private pilgrimage, without being suitable for the celebration of joyful social sacraments.
