MEDIEVAL CHAPEL OF SAINT CATHERINE
This important medieval monument is more widely known as the Royal Chapel and is one of the most interesting examples of the period of the Frankish rule on the island. It is a small, single-chamber rectangular structure, which was constructed with reddish and greenish volcanic stones from the surrounding area. Internally it preserves precious wall paintings on the walls and on its vaulted roof, among which the depiction of king Janus and his wife stands out
