SMALL CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

This small and picturesque chapel is built in the old core of Kato Polemidia, a short distance from the large homonymous church of the community. It is an unadorned, single-chamber building with stone masonry and a traditional tiled roof, which preserves unaltered its devotional character within the urban zone. Owing to its limited size, it functions mainly as a space for private prayer and the quiet lighting of a candle by passers-by and the residents of the neighbourhood
