MONASTERY OF SAINT SERAFEIM OF SAROF - SKOURIOTISSA

The Holy Hermitage was founded in the verdant area “Exinta” of Skouriotissa, at the site where the local Police Station of the mining settlement was formerly housed. The building facilities were suitably adapted for the needs of the monastic brotherhood, with one of the rooms initially converted into a small church. It is an important spiritual refuge in Cyprus, where a relic of the Saint is kept and the services are celebrated both in Greek and in Russian.
