NEW HOLY CHURCH OF SAINT GEORGE

This impressive church was built on the western side of the community to serve the modern needs of the faithful of the area. It is a spacious and tall building in three-aisled Byzantine style, the works of which were completed at the beginning of the previous decade. The official opening was celebrated with every ecclesiastical splendour by the local Metropolitan of Morphou.
