CHAPEL OF SAINT GEORGE OF LIMNIS (RUINS)

To the east of the community of Letymvou in Paphos are found the ruins of the historic chapel of Saint George, which according to local traditions dates to around the 10th century. This medieval building collapsed completely with the passage of the centuries and owing to old earthquakes in the area. Today the site is not functional for sacraments; however, at the spot of the ruins a small shrine with an oil lamp has been placed for passing pilgrims.
