CHAPEL OF PROPHET ELIJAH

This is an isolated and devotional chapel that is built on one of the verdant mountainsides of the mountain community of Odou. As Christian tradition dictates for religious monuments that are dedicated to the Prophet Elijah, the church dominates a particularly high point, offering a unique panoramic view towards the surrounding area. This small stone building functions mainly as a retreat and a place of private pilgrimage, while it gathers the residents for the annual festival every July
