The Old Holy Church of the Holy Forerunner is the historical and spiritual ornament in the heart of Kornos. It is an exceptional example of traditional Cypriot architecture, entirely stone-built, which exudes picturesqueness and historical continuity. It functioned for many decades as the main church of the community, until the erection and operation of the new, larger church of the village in 2007
