OLD CHURCH OF SAINT MAVRI (RUINS)

This particular site includes the remaining archaeological remnants and rubble of an old church in the rural area of Acheleia. Owing to the total destruction of the building, the site is not functional and does not allow the celebration of religious sacraments or services. These ruins survive as historical evidence of the long ecclesiastical heritage of the area, recalling the religious activity of past centuries.
