PANAGIA GLOSSA

The Holy Monastery of the Life-giving Spring, more widely known as Panagia tou Glossa, is located at a serene semi-mountainous site near the village of Kellaki in the Limassol district. The present central church of the monastery is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and was erected at the beginning of the 1980s next to an earlier historic Chapel. The epithet “Glossa” is inextricably connected with the long religious tradition and the numerous miracles of the homonymous icon, which concern mainly the healing of persons with problems of speech, articulation and hearing
