PANAGIA ZANATZIOTISA

The Holy Church of Panagia Zanatziotissa (or Panagia Eleousa) is located in the community of Souni-Zanatzia in the Limassol district, being the oldest historic core of the settlement of Zanatzia. It is a single-aisled basilica of traditional construction, which preserves in its interior a noteworthy iconostasis and old icons that attest to the long-standing religious presence in the area. The church is closely connected with the local traditions of the residents, while every year it gathers faithful during the great feasts of the Mother of God
