PANAGIA PANTANASSA

This magnificent parish church is located in the centre of Paphos, very close to Kennedy Square, and is dedicated to Panagia i Pantanassa. The imposing building began to be built in the middle of the 20th century to meet the needs of the continuously growing urban parish. It is distinguished for its cruciform style with a large dome and is one of the central spiritual landmarks of the city, hosting daily crowds of faithful and official religious ceremonies.
