PANAGIA OF LOVE

The chapel of Panagia tis Agapis is a unique religious and cultural ornament, hidden in the mountainous area of Larnaca. Nestled within a verdant mountain landscape beside the river of Vavla, it offers the visitor a sense of complete serenity and seclusion. Although this stone-built structure with the wooden roof was completed in the 1930s, it carries a deep history of centuries, since its authentic icon was painted in the 16th century.
