PANAGIA OF ZALAKA

This modern chapel is located at the summit of Mount Zalaka which dominates above the community of Trimiklini. Its erection was based on a local tradition of the discovery of a spring with holy water at that spot, while the building itself is a private donation. It has a beautiful cruciform construction with a dome and red tiles, offering at the same time an impressive, panoramic view towards the entire valley of the Kouris
