PANAGIA CHRYSOPANTANASSA

This small and protected religious building is the original, historic little church of the settlement and is built upon the foundations of an earlier church of Saint Panigyrios. It is a plain vaulted structure which is located isolated at the edge of the community, surrounded by nature. In its interior rare manuscript texts survive and a precious, old icon of the local Saint, which is not encountered in other official written sources.
