CHAPEL OF SAINT DEMETRIANOS

This place of pilgrimage is housed essentially within the large, modern church of Saint Demetrios in Paralimni, as this church is officially triple-dedicated. One of its three aisles is entirely dedicated to Saint Demetrianos, the miracle-working Bishop of Chytroi in Cyprus, allowing the parishioners to honour his memory. The entire interior space shares the same imposing basilica structure with the central dome, offering a unified, richly decorated space of worship for the faithful of the area.
