CHAPEL OF SAINT SOZONTOS

This beautiful chapel is located in a verdant mountainous area of the community of Asprogia in Paphos, built beside the historic cave and the traditional holy water spring of the local child martyr. The church was fully restored and completed in 2020 thanks to the private initiative of a teacher and the invaluable voluntary work of the faithful of the district. The site is an important pilgrimage of the Holy Metropolis of Paphos, attracting crowds of people during its annual religious festival on 7 September.
