PROPHET ELIJAH

The picturesque Chapel of the Prophet Elijah rises upon a verdant rise of Evrychou, offering an impressive and boundless view towards the valley of Solea and the Troodos mountain range. Its erection began in the mid-1980s on the initiative of the Metropolis of Morphou and was fully completed with its inauguration in 2003. Beside this stone-built little church a modern, organised community viewpoint has been created, ideal for the rest of travellers.
