PROPHET ELIJAH

The small, plain chapel of the Prophet Elijah is built at a beautiful, verdant site in the community of Treis Elies in the Limassol district. It is a very small church of traditional style with a sloping roof, which is fully harmonised with the mountain landscape of the area. Owing to its particularly limited dimensions it functions mainly as a place of pilgrimage and tranquillity, while every year on the feast of the Prophet Elijah it gathers the few residents and visitors of the village
