CHURCH OF ARCHANGEL MICHAEL (OLD)

The Church is dedicated to the Archangel Michael and was built in the 17th century and is located on a high point within the Community. Externally it is built with hard limestone stone and is a vaulted Basilica. It is a temple that is an ornament for the Community of Oroklini both for its architecture and for its historical reference. Initially, the church was smaller when it was built and according to the testimonies of the residents in 1867 it was extended as the icons were repainted at the expense of the residents. However, over the years the corrections that were made have worn away.
