HOLY CHURCH OF PANAGIA OF THE BLOOD

The church of Panagia Aimatousa or as many call it, Abdellerkotissa, is the main church and is located in the center of the village. The icon of Panagia is placed on the iconostasis and at the bottom is the largest iconostasis of the Theotokos which has the following inscription "MEMORIZED LADY OF THE SERVANT OF MICHAEL 1821". Testimonies from the residents of the Community state that the real icon has been stolen and in its place for several years another icon of Panagia has been placed. Next to the church there is a park where children can play.
