Aigyptiaki Orthodox Church of Saint Mark

This modern church is housed in a three-story brick building in Aglantzia of Nicosia and is the spiritual core of the Coptic community in Cyprus. The church is dedicated to the Evangelist Mark, who is considered the founder of the Christian tradition in Egypt. Its interior decoration combines elements of ancient Egyptian Christian art with the liturgical needs of the modern faithful. There, divine services, catechism classes, and sacraments for the members of the community are held regularly.
