Apostle Luke

This holy church is built on a height and is the first image that one beholds upon entering the mountainous community of Korakou. It is a traditional single-space structure of the period of Ottoman rule, which stands out for its double wooden roof with the hooked tiles. The exterior covered open spaces on its three sides give a special architectural beauty, while in its interior an atmosphere of deep devotion is preserved for the faithful.
