Apostle Luke

This church is located in the center of the historic community of Kouklia in Paphos and is the main parish church of the village. The original structure suffered serious destruction from a strong earthquake, with the result that it was rebuilt from the ground up in 1895. It is a stone-built church of basilica style with a tiled roof, which stands out for its traditional elegance among the popular houses. The community honors its patron Saint with every solemnity by holding a great annual festival on the 18th of October.
