Archangel Michael Trypiotis

This emblematic church is located in the old walled city of Nicosia and is one of the most important monuments of the Ottoman period. It was erected with contributions of the Christian parishioners and stands out for its three-aisled structure with a dome, made of well-kept hewn limestone blocks. In its interior is hosted the largest iconostasis of the old capital, as well as religious icons of priceless historical and artistic value.
