Cemetery Church Anavargous

This austere religious structure is located in the urban district of Anavargos in the Municipality of Paphos, built within the local cemetery. The church follows the simple architectural lines of the cemetery chapels of Cyprus, serving the needs of the area's faithful. Owing to its special character and its location, the site is used exclusively for funeral services, memorials and individual pilgrimage, without being suitable for the celebration of joyful social sacraments.
