Chapel Entry of Theotokos (Old Calendarist)

This small and isolated chapel is located in the rural area of Avgorou, in the free Famagusta district. It is a simple, traditional structure of the Cypriot countryside with whitewashed walls, which belongs to the religious community of the Genuine Orthodox Christians (Old Calendarists) of Cyprus. The church celebrates its feast during the great feast of the Theotokos of the Entry of the Most Holy Theotokos, following strictly the ancestral Julian calendar.
