Chapel Mark Evgenikou

This austere Christian place of worship is built in the southern part of the community of Agios Ioannis in Nicosia, very close to the administrative borders with the neighbouring village of Malounta. Its erection was carried out thanks to the private initiative and the financial contribution of a local priest, as well as with the help of several pious inhabitants of the wider area. Owing to its quiet location in the Cypriot countryside, this small country chapel offers spiritual seclusion to passers-by and is used mainly for small family gatherings and religious feasts.
