Chapel of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist), Fanos

This small and plain chapel, known to the locals also as Ai Giannis, is located in the countryside of the Fanos area in Protaras. It was erected upon the ruins of an older church, which was constructed of mud bricks and mud, thanks to the initiative and the contribution of seven local faithful. Its interior hosts a plain iconostasis with four Byzantine icons, offering an extremely quiet and devout space for prayer and family sacraments.
