Chapel of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist) Inner Geitonias

This historic chapel is located in the same courtyard as the large church of the Apostle Andrew, occupying the northern part of the plot. It is a single-aisled vaulted structure, whose exterior walls are built with the traditional characteristic stone of Limassol. Its roof consists of a stone arch covered with clay Byzantine tiles, while on the south-eastern side rises a two-storey bell tower. Owing to its age and its particular picturesqueness, it is an exceptionally beloved spot of worship and prayer within the urban fabric.
