Chapel of Panagia Astathkion

The country chapel of Panagia ton Astathkion is located one and a half kilometres east of the village, upon a small rise. It is single-aisled, vaulted and built with stones of the area, with two entrances and a hagiography-decorated interior of the 16th century. A few wall paintings have survived owing to wear and human interventions. The country chapel, which has been declared a Monument, honours Panagia Astathkiotissa on the Thursday of Renewal, with a local festival that continues to this day.
