Chapel of Saint Marina

This particular historic chapel is located at the original site of the village, at a distance of three kilometers from the present settlement, near the forest of Paphos. It is a traditional stone structure, next to which gushes the eponymous miraculous holy spring (agiasma) of the area. Every year, on the 17th of July, crowds of the faithful gather in the space to honor the memory of Saint Marina, who according to local tradition saved the residents from the deadly epidemic of the plague.
