Chapel of Saint Marina

The picturesque chapel of Saint Marina is built to the west of the village of Foini, in the verdant location Vines that is surrounded by pines. It was erected at the end of the 20th century with a donation of land and private expense, replacing a very old open-air shrine that the locals used for decades. The structure is constructed internally of brick and faced externally with local stone, while in its interior stand out the whitewashed surroundings and a beautiful wooden carved iconostasis.
