Chapel of Saint Mavris (Ruins)

These historic remnants belong to one of the many old, ruined chapels that are located scattered in the wider area of Armou in Paphos. Owing to the total destruction of the structure, the space is not used for the celebration of Christian sacraments or religious services. The location is an important archaeological and ecclesiastical testimony for the community, as it is connected with old local traditions that even speak of the finding of gold flakes in the adjacent stream.
