Chapel of Saint Nicholas

This small and isolated chapel of Saint Nicholas is located in the abandoned village of Melandra in the Paphos district. It is a unique historic symbol of peaceful coexistence, as it stands right beside the old Muslim mosque of the community, which was deserted after the events of 1974. Although the village is now almost entirely ruined, this plain church remains standing and falls administratively under the Chorepiscopate of Arsinoe, recalling the past of the area.
