Chapel of Saint Paraskevi, Pedoulas

This historic chapel is located in the lush green location of Poumis, surrounded by the orchards of the mountain settlement. It originally functioned as a single-aisled structure, but later interventions converted it into a double-aisled timber-roofed church that was also used as a cemetery. Today, its valuable 18th-century despotic icons and the archaeological finds of the church are kept protected in the local Byzantine Museum.
