Chapel of Saint Theoseviou Arsinoitis

The small chapel and holy cave of Saint Theosevios of Arsinoe is located in the mountainous and steep area of Filousa Chrysochous in Paphos. It is formed next to or within the natural rock where, according to ecclesiastical tradition, the Saint practiced asceticism, prayed undistracted as a shepherd, and was finally buried during the fifth century. It is an extremely devout and isolated pilgrimage site of the district, which attracts the faithful who arrive to fulfill vows and to honor the memory of the Saint.
