Chapel of Saint Tryphon

This picturesque country chapel is built at a key crossroads that leads towards old Theletra in Paphos, right next to the main road that connects Paphos with Polis Chrysochous. Although the church was radically renovated in 1920, its official inauguration was held later, in 1995, by the then Metropolitan of Paphos Chrysostomos II. Owing to its limited interior space, it functions mainly as a place of pilgrimage for passers-by and locals, while the village honours festively the memory of Saint Tryphon every year on 1 February.
